I have to admit, I was quite weary of trying a smoothie made of veggies at first - but I was willing to give it a try. And now I'm in LOVE, hooked! Angela nailed it with her Green Monster Smoothie. I will guide you on my favorite version along with how to prep these for easy blending.
Protein Powder (I prefer Vanilla, Chocolate is great too!)
Nut Butter (I prefer Almond or Low Fat Jif)
Fruit: Bananas (or pineapple, blueberries)
Start with 7 quart size Freezer Bags and begin with placing your fruit. Place half a banana in each bag or 5 pineapple wedges and a few blueberries. Next add your spinach. I divide the bag of spinach evenly between the 7 freezer bags.
